Hey guys, I was wondering if there were any other products other then VHT that I can use to re-tint my taillights? If so a name a store would be fantastic. But as far as I know there arent any other ones like VHT, I was hoping maybe PepBoys or something like that would have it. Any leads would be great!

Stop messing with vht and having to keep repainting. Send them out to Jon's Tinted Tails and they will look 1000 times better then any vht or self painted.

I used Vans Lens Paint on my TYCs. It may not be as dark as VHT or the tint place mentioned above, but for a little over $50 you can DIY and do a great job. I still receive compliments on mine and its been over 1 1/2 years since I painted them.

I got lucky when I called. He happened to have a spare set of tC tails so he tinted them and sent them to me. I paid a little extra since I got the tails included.

 

What kind of vinyl do places like headlight armour and bluebat use?

 

Not sure what they use but I did find the vinyl that a lot of ebay places use. If you want I'll sell you the whole roll or what's left (about 85%). There's also a site called www.stickercity.com that sells some really good thick vinyl and they have cut outs for the tc lights. If I was to use any vinyl it would be those (or the ebay vinyl you can buy from me ).
