I think making the support rods black (preferably matte) would be a nice touch.

Go with the splitter, rs1 is too common..

Angling the rods makes it look better imo.. Here's how mine was set up a few months back..

ihavenosn how did you do the install?
i tried it today with a friend and was harder than i though and in the end it wasnt as stable as i would have liked so took it off for now
