Default APR Splitter install tips?

I'm getting it done at a shop so I don't screw it up. He wanted to know if you had to remove the plastic that is already under the car and also about the tow hooks underneath. I believe they were touching the splitter.

Any install tips would be great. Then I can pass them on to him.

The shop is a friend of my family so he's helping me out but has never done this kind of install before. Thanks for any input.

no, the hooks he is referring to stay in place
you cut out part of the splitter so the hooks can pop through
your splash guard will be removed, well it should be, looks stupid if you dont
trust me, ive seen a guy with it, and it makes the splitter have a gap

mine was pretty to install, just make sure they take the bumper off and line everything up to where you want it, and then install

not really hard at all, seriously

Thank you that really helps. I'll pass that information onto him. He'll be installing the splitter in a little over a week.

I'm trying to get my car ready for the Scion NW meet....now if my rims would ever show up. Thanks again and I'll get some updated pics up whenever it's ready.

make sure he gets someone to help him. it's always easier and comes out better when more than one person does it.
