APT Fog lights ( ebay VRD's)
The bulbs were free, or thrown in with the deal, Im pretty sure its just a fluke it went out after one day the white set that came with it are working just fine. it could happen to $80 bulbs and could happen to your $130 hid's.. since they were free I cant complain at all.
ok i got mine in today. started to wire em up (because switched out the bulbs to the blue ones) and everything looks pretty simple....only question is i'm guessing the white is ground wire (where do i ground it) and how do i hook up the red(power wire) to the switch and what not? have yet to see the DIY for that part for these
when i did mine i grounded the 1 set of ground wires to the battery, than for the switch inside i grounded it to any lose bolt. Mine came basically all prewired. For the power, i hooked it up to the battery, than on the inside i hooked up the switch power to my LEDs on the inside, but for you you can splice it into any power wire, or just a replace-a-fuse... which is the harder way
inside your wheel well on the driver side is the harness for the fog lights, that's where the white switch in your first pic goes to, and the other cable goes to the ground bolt, also on the driver side wheel well (behind fender liner)
In the second pic the white plugs, plug into a slot inside your dash. Heres the link. Its different foglights but the harness is pretty much the same.

Connect the fogs to the wire harness and then test it by connecting it to a 12v source. If they still don't light up then you have a problem with the harness or bulbs. If they light up then you have a problem the switch/harness in your car.
black to white
red to white
the black on the fog light is the ground and the white from the harness is the ground
the white wire from the fog light is the bulb so you want to connect that to the power source from the wire harness (red)

Ok here's a head scratcher for you guys. Got the wires right. Lights are on. Turned them off. And then try to turn them back on again but no go. Checked: fuse, ground, wire harness, bulbs, relay, pushing the switch on and off. Didn't know how to check harness in car and then gave up.
And some pictures just so it doesn't get boring.

Got all excited it finally came on and then dead.

Got bored and grounded the wire harness to the top of the frame. Actually works pretty well and I don't have to lay on my back anymore to remove/install the harness.

Playing with the lights and changing one of them with a Nokya one I ordered.
