Whats been proven false? Ive researched about it and 2500k seem to be a perfect match. I never said you HAVE to get 2500k, but after the research I did, it seems to be a nice fit, especially that many people on these forums, at least that I have seen, are satisfied with 2500k bulbs.

You can't see any better in fog with yellow than white.

If you are looking for bulbs, stick with 2500k's. they are yellow on the color spectrum and are the best for visibility through fog.

if youre gonna give someone information, maybe you should know about it first....its kelvin, not kalvin. just sayin

Nuh-uh! Rainbow is the best color setup cause it cancels each other out and Captain Planet comes out of no where to help push the evil fog away so you can have a clear path to drive through.

it would make it wrong when someone goes to look up informaiton on kalvins and comes up with nothing

Im not trying to argue, but when someone Googles kalvins, it asks if they meant kelvins. Whatever, I think its besides the point.

What are the dimensions of the glass? I plan on buying some universal vinyl to protect it but I don't want to buy too little or too big of a size sheet.

I was planning on buying some Lamin-x universal 6x12 sheet that's very thick. Wasn't sure if I have enough space to cut with that.

How thick is it? I'm looking for some clear vinyl in 40mil that'll do the job. Mainly to protect the lens.
