What I'd like to see is a ghost scion lettering, not the whole badge, the badge will be nice as well

 

Yeah, he's finishing up some badgless garnishes for some customers and will post pics up of the ghost garnish soon there after.

hopefully the ghosted garnish he posts up are of the darker variety. :D

 

it will all depend on the paint it blends into. A BSP ghost garnish will be darker than a SW one. But at night they all will light up the same.

 

I'mo more concerned with the way it looks during the day time unlit =) I assumed it looked "regular" at night with it lit up.

 

If you get the ghost effect, the image or logo that is put on the garnish will be practically invisible during the day so it looks just like a flush badge-less garnish. Its when nighttime comes around that the party gets started.

 

I think i'll wire a switch for that

 

UPDATE! I know it was soposed to be out a while ago but I dont have the space or resources to start. In a few weeks i-KONA will have a new shop which will have plenty of space (2 thousand + sq ft to be specific) And we will then be able to start doing these :D

PLEASE PM me ASAP, when these are avail. I would put a SUPERCHARGED lettering in the garnish!! I will be putting on my supercharger this year, so i would love an Oznium LED inside to lite this puppy up!!!

 

how do you remove the old garnish anyway?

 

bump...i did research it already, even checked some tech arts, but couldnt find it.... any info would be great! Skidelllyyydooooo!!!!!

 

You take the 2 screws off of the rear hatch panel, then pry the panel off (It seems tough to pry off but its not, its held in with button clips that pop right off with a little effort, they pop in real easy too) Then you need a 10 mm deep socket to take the 4 bolts off that hold the garnish on, (get a deep socket not a standard socket, deep sockets are the long one). Then disconnect the switch and tkae the switch off of the garnish and put it back on the trunk otherwise u cant open it. Its real tricky to go in from behind and activate the computer manually. Believe me.

Then you put the garnish in a box and send it to i-KONA

UPDATE : When I start doing this I will be able to do other body parts and panels other then the garnish.
