Does anyone have this? I notice its a 3M adhesive applique. Does it look cheap in real life? Or is it worth getting?

 

imo, i think its not worth it. I bought it thinking that it was real cf, but its just a big ol sticker w/ carbon fiber "style" print. Looks pretty cool, but the quality isn't there

 

Actually, it is real carbon fiber, but it is stickon and the cf is molded in some kind of flexable rubber.

 

i just got it yesterday and i think it looks really good on the car.

 

I got them for x-mas...I think it looks pretty good.

 

I love them....think they really dress up the car.....

 

I got em when I ordered the car, and although I should've got almost EVERY part aftermarket and just slapped em on the car, I love the B-pilliar applique and it looks really good with the TC aluminum door sills, makes the car look higher class when you're getting in.

but save yourself a lot of money and buy them later from www.mcgeorgeparts.com or www.trdsparks.com

they're just an adhesive-backed carbon fiber strip you apply to the car, and it is made out of real carbon fiber.

 

yeah, definately don't get them from the dealer, they're about double the price. i went with www.trdsparks.com for OBX pedals & the b-pillars and the parts were at my house 3 days after I ordered them.

 

order the pedals and the b pillar from the dealer.. damn! .. im not puttin mine on til spring though....

 

I love mine. Looks great and the TC logo is a nice touch

yeah-i just got the pillar thing too. looks good on my sw tc. the $50 gift card comes like 6-8 weeks after you get your car only if you financed through toyota financial.

 

I got them for one simple purpose.. I hated when people put their fingers on the black part of the door and later you can still see that... with the B pillars.. it eliminates this problem AND it looks better

you might try the dealer to get it. I went last weekend to see what their prices were on a couple things like a cargo net and pedal covers. They quoted me the msrp, but when i sorta shook my head and said it was too much the parts guy instantly dropped the price about $50 bucks! Maybe he just had to move some parts or something.

 

Got mine in yesterday, if the weather is good today I plan on washing my car and will try to get some pics.

 

i got it on a BCP tC and i think it looks great ... heres some pics ...

I think it helps with the profile of the car and it shows the car name on the side ...
