from what it seems there will be approximately 300 of these grills made...period. Tc coming closer to its end (apparently) will really hinder 5axis intent to make more, so the GB has a few of the grills while Im sure that Longo toyota will be selling the remaining set.

The GB will be open til mid/late November. For the initial "GB", the price is set and we need at least 60 actual participants before Five Axis will go into production. The deal is basically 60 pre-sold, Longo picks up about 40 units in addition to the pre-sold quantity then Five Axis nods Yes to the project going forward. The "break even" point for them is 200 units, so Troy is taking a leap of faith for the community on this one (as am I, but to a lesser extent).

The biggest concern is that the tC should be changing styles soon if it follows the Toyota model revamp formula (typical Toyota cycle is 5 years, tc has been out 05, 06, 07, 08, 09).

We're hoping to hit approx 300 units sold in the product life cycle. The grille will be unique to an extent =P Scion only allows about 250 to 400 pieces of their RS-specific accessories to be released (example, tc RS4 black chrome front bar only had about 250 released, xB RS5 gold spoiler only had 300 or so released).

Hopefully that clears it up a little bit. This is my first time getting into the manufacturing side of things (paperwork-wise, that is) and the investment involved on some items are a lot higher than most may think.
