Default Bat's 3rd Brake Red-Out - UPDATED - New Pics

Here you go guys...

Bat's 3rd Brake Light Red-Out arrived today. This thing was cake to put on. Especially compared to the tiny side marker overlays (very curved surfaces). This was quick, straight-forward and very easy.

On to the pics!

Now... I think it's kind of dark as-is (partly lighting - it isn't AS dark as it looks)... but I'm hoping it will lighten up just a little. Keep in mind, this was like 10 min after I finished it. And the lighting sucked b/c I was standing in the shade, but kind of facing the sun. I might post another couple pics tomorrow when it sets a little and has better light.

Thanks Bat!

I can't get over that license plate. Did you originally want to make it OMGWTFLOL? or OMGWTHLOL? that would've been awesome if you could fit it on there.

I think that 3rd brake light redout will be my first purchase for my new car. The clear brake light kinda stands out, especially on an FM.

Well, if you have FM, I'd suggested doing a smoke overlay set for all three rear lights. It'd look hot if done right.

As for the plate... well... I was trying to come up with something at least entertaining or meaningful. Entertaining won out. And that was just about the only thing available that I really got a kick out of.

Nice, I see you're a PSU Grad I lived in State College, PA for about 10 years. lol @ license plate, and I do hope the red out would actually lighten up, so it actually looks red.

Not at all. Bat provides instructiongs with the overlay, but this one is total cake. It's a flat surface and once lined up, very easy. Didn't even need to trim at all, just had to tuck the top and bottom around the light.

Looks great man. Mind if I add them to my Gallery? I'll blur out the lisence plate .

Just a side note, I intentionally made the Overlays a tad bigger so that it tucks into the sides, that way you can't even notice it's an Overlay .

Ya... go ahead.

As for the size... I think it was like 1/16 or 3/32" too short on each end. I could get a pic if you like, but you wouldn't notice unless you got up close and was staring at it. But you can tell there's just that little piece that's not covered. Still love it though, like I said, you have to look for it to notice.

I've revised the kit since then. Thanks for the input

i've got the front eyelids that i need a pic of but they don't go down far enough for my liking (there's stil a thin sliver of the eyelid it's covering visible, on mine and all the others on blue's website) it'd be nice if you redesigned them a little larger =) (feel free to use my tC for fitting...)
