Not sure about the percentage as these aren't really window tinting material. They're vinyl designed withstand the abuse of weather and the sun on the exterior of the car. Bat has two different levels of darkness: light (3/10), and dark (6/10). Another company lists a percentage of light transmission on their overlays.

i want to get some but i really dont want to put them on myself, dont wanna mess them up. i was thinkin bout takin it to the guy who tinted my windows, im sure he'll do a better job. i'll prolly order from bat and take to the tint shop to put on.

I'd ask around to make sure that they can put them on. Someone else had a tint shop try to put the overlays on, but they failed. Print out a copy of Bat's guide on installing them and take them with you so the shops know what to expect.

Most car windows have gentle slopes to them, and the window tint is very thin, so it's much easier to work with. The tail lights have a bit of a harsh curve, and the vinyl overlays are pretty thick which can be a pain if you've never done it before.

Those are 6/10 tint. I have a lighter 3/10, but I'd suggest the darker 6/10 for better contrast .

6/10, thats not to dark is it. i have a BCP, i dont want it to dark to where cops is trippin, but i also dont want it to lite to where its pointless.

 

Have you checked out Bat's site? A link is in his signature. There's pictures of the different kits you can get, and pics of the light tint, and the dark tint.

I already got a ticket for "illegal equipment", but I'm in VA. The officer said it dims the output of the light, and can cause an accident :p Check out what my brother and I did to take care of his concern (no problems from cops since the first ticket).
