Default Bats Overlays w/ pics!

So i installed Bats overlays the other day (thanks bat!) and just washed my car so i thought id share with you guys since i know you all love pictures. probably should have touched them up a bit but whatever

First, the tails...

STOCK so you can compare

Some imperfections...

Now, the headlights

with hids on

hangin' with the porsche

installing the tails overlays wasnt as easy as i thought it would be, if you plan on installing them all i can say is PATIENCE!

Very nice. I got the same overlays on my car. The first tail was a little hard, but with a blowdryer and a squeegee it wasn't too bad.

The small imperfections will heal themselves, don't worry too much about them. I had the same small bubbles and stuff. Give it about a week or so and whatever is left, get a pin and just dab it into the bubble and press it out.

And great job on the install! I know it can be tough at first, but it really did turn out nice.

Are they just bad pics or do the eyelids not match your paint very well?

I was actually concerned with the color matching, it didnt match very well. but it only bothers me when im standing right over my headlight and i can see the difference in sparkle in the paint. From a distance its not bad though

FM is hard to match even when painting. Vinyl only comes in certain colors. So imagine how much harder it is to find vinyl in FM. That's the closest you'll get. And it's not so bad at all..

Yea the FM matches best when actually the picture situation is best - overcast with some sunlight shining through the clouds. PERFECT for picture taking, and the eyelids match beautifully.

Purely in the sun, the vinyl is too gray/silvery with too much flake. It's grown on me though.

ive got the same eyelids on my FM.

in my opinion they match better with the headlight housing rather than the paint itself.
