I just got the overlay and i put it right away
I tinted my taillight before and i messed that up couple months ago
This time, since the film is smaller piece and it was my second time, it was perfect! no bubbles at all!

I didn't want to see orange at all so i put 2 layers

looks like u got a triangle cut out of smoked vinyl on yer headlights.

 

idk it looks good but kinda tacky too because u can see the line of the triangle cut out. i would just crack my headlights open and paint those b4 i did that. JIMO

As in 1 layer? If they overlap, someone looking at your car real hard might notice a crease.

I'm thinking the same thing. But if I open 'em up, I want it to be for more than just blacking out the amber sidemarker. Trying to decide between DDEs (which have been done before) or installing a 194 wedge bulb into the highbeam housing.

Looks good. I'd get one layer though IMO. Hmmm, I wonder if these overlays are doable for me because I have those CF overlays on my eyelids?

 

And another question... These are legal, right? Like if I take my car in for inspection, it's gonna be ok, right?

yes you can. you can place them right under the eyelids. my friend did it to his bsp tc and it looked fine. im sure there are some people flying around on the forums with em too :whistle:

about the legality. it varies from state to state, i know in CA is illegal to have anything that would obstruct your headlight.. or at least thats as far as i heard . but if you just turn on your parking lights, the light is bright enough to show the orange, which is a requirement in CA (that your corners burn amber), and thus legal in a sense. lol. but best bet would be to check your local laws :D
