Default BB GUN + tC = /cry

was at a friends house in a nice neighborhood for about 2 hours. went straight home and wokeup in the morning to go get my tires mounted on my new rims and noticed something odd with my usual 50 scratches all over the side of my car bc the paint is so crappy. oh look 2 bb gun bullets. heres a pic of 1 of them.

any ideas on if i can touchup something like this or if i should claim insurance. 1 bullet is on the quarter panel as pictured the other is in the middle of the door.

just go to a PDR shop and see what they can do. your insurance deductible is bigger than waht a pdr shop would charge anyways.

Sorry to hear about your damage. I had the same thing happen to my car. I just claimed insurance and they took care of me. Too bad the body shop sucked and I had to take it back like 50 times before it was like brand new again.

Well pretty much they had to repaint the entire rear quarter panel, plus the upper trim above the door. Take this and that off. Cost about $1100~$1200 if I didnt go through insurance. But i really dont know if they are going to raise my premium or anything like that. This is my first insurance claim so I have no idea whats going to happen next year.

Check with your insurance first, but generally comprehensive claims don't increase your premium unless you make a lot of them.

or maybe you have magnified the damage? That plastic cover on the door needs to be changed then. correct me if I am wrong, but I think you should claim this, if your comp. deduc. is less than $500. if more, don't claim it.
