Default Been looking.. Wanna buy new projector headlight.. Help please!

I have been looking everywhere on SL and the web for reviews on all these different after-market headlights out there..

I was looking at this kit.. see pic..

I have heard that the headlights that have led's and halos burn out after a while but as far as other quality concerns like: headlight lens turns yellow or easily gets water leaks..

Thanks guys!

-Joe

I'd stick with the OEM projectors. These are decent aftermarket head lights but the LEDs do go out and the cutoff from the projectors are not all that great. There's a thread about them somewhere on here. "SEARCH" for Anzo headlights.

Yeah those led's on those go out easily, halo's sometimes they do, sometimes they dont, they usually last though. It does also leak water, I would say reseal it with silicone and get an eyelid for it, those led's dont look good to me anyways. good luck

I agree, just get the OEM ones. The majority of the aftermarket headlights are garbage. If you do go the aftermarket route make sure you seal them up real well before you install them.

Good advice! Thank you everyone! :-) My cost on the oem 08' headlights are 189 per side, I was going to see if any junk yards have them too. I checked Craig's List and ebay so far.. no go :/

Theres a cheaper knock-off version of the OEM projectors, they are made by some company called Depo,

+1 for Depo's! We might stock them once we check out the quality for our selves.

Thanks guys, I have decided to hold off on purchasing new headlights for now.. I decided to put the stock 9006 bulbs and connectors on today.. The hid's were just throwing light all over the place; I wonder how its going to look tonight without the hids, I had those in for six years :-o

Check out the pic! I took the cover off the ballast to see the stuff inside... Cool!

I stick with oem ones eBay has them for around 200.00. I've got similar ones to the ones you posted.(they came with my car) The cut offs on them are terrible and there's alot of hot spots. If you don't wanna spend much get cheap ones.
