ok me and my friend are gonna get some tint pretty soon. i already got a quote for some Llumar tint w/ lifetime warranty for $110 each. i wanted to know how much you guys paid for yalls. btw, i think we're both getting 20% if thats a factor.

 

Do it. You can't get 5 windows in SoCal for under $140, and most places are around $200.

 

yeah 110 is a VERY good price. i got my 5 windows for 160

 

mine here is 289 for their highest quality... luckily i got hooked up and did it on the side for 130

I just tinted my tC the day after I got it and it came out to 260 with all 5 windows done, both moonroofs tinted and a Top Windshield Strip for the sun.

 

$140 for the back three tinted with solarguard (sp?) 14%, with the offer that he'll do the fronts for just an additional $30 (north jersey shore).

 

What shop in Houston are you doing this at?

our shop has a deal right now 90 bucks for the tC, with me tinting it (no problems). It's sun gard tint, which has a lifetime warranty, although my person vehicle was tinted when I first got and before i began tinting (October), and it uses llumar tint. I personally prefer the llumar tint, I like the somewhat brown tint to the somewhat blue tint. And as a tinter i had sun gard, because it's some of the hardest tint to heatshrink.

 

just got my tc tinted today.. back, side, sunroof = limo and doors= dark. The shop used Solar Gaurd Titanium HQ. $220 OTD. the origional quote was 130 for basic tint. Went to 200 for titanium and another 20 for both sunroofs.

 

theres the little shop by my house that has an ad for $40, been kinda tempted, but i know get what you pay for

 

I got my 5 windows done last week for $175 at 20%. It looks great. I also paid the extra $29 for the no fault warranty which means if the window is broken for whatever reason, they'll replace the tint at no cost.
