Mark it.. heat up the silver emblem, using fishing line to take it off. Goo gone to rub off the adhesive and slap on double sided tape to the black one.

A heat gun or a hair dryer, some fishing line, and goo gone.
Heat up the emblem for about 3-5 minutes, and then get some wire and wedge it slowly behind it, and it'll come falling off. If there's still adhesive, hit it with goo gone and let it sit for 5 minutes, and then it'll peel right off.

x2

and the front emblem has 2 little posts on the back that help to align it level. idk if thats the case with the rear emblem, but if it is then you wont have to worry about marking it.

She's talking about the "tc" emblem not the "scion" one.

dont know if I would polish or wax it before you stick it on. Clean it super good after the goo gone. And stick the emblem on right after. Then you can polish and wax around it. Make sure the double stick tape is on every bit of the emblem. Stick if on and push. Hold it for a bit....make sure you push on the whole emblem too. It will be fine. GL
