Which is better for the parking lights? Leds or bulbs?

Default Which is better for the parking lights? Leds or bulbs?

I've been thinking of getting the ones from superbrightleds.com, but I heard that the heat from the low beam headlight will cause the plastic to melt. I also read from mokenso that Xenon white bulbs from autolumination are the way to go. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks guys.

I'd say bulbs. The heat from the headlights kills LEDs.

the LED's can handle the heat from the bulbs and they are brighter....just depends on which setup you like best

i know. but i want blue ones though. is there any blue bulbs? i'm looking at autolumination.com and they have xenon super white. i dont know if those come out blue.

Yeah you can get blue bulbs. Try www.xtremewhite.com
You need a 194 wedge base for the parking lights.

i dont have them in mine because i went for a diff look, but i do have LED's in the engine bay and they are fine. I have blue LED's in my truck headlights and they are fine, and its the same bulbs so they will be fine as well.

LED's will go out due to the heat on parking lights but its ok if you like changing them lol.

i have had them in my truck headlights which run the same 9006 bulb for about 2 years and they are fine

How close are they to the actual headlight bulb? The parking light in the tC sit pretty close.

my varads have been working pretty good. 1 went out but thats when i had 9005s in there. just running 9006s now and no problem yet.

Hey i got those on my parkings got them at Toyota for about 9bucks here is a pic they give a good hyperwhite color
