o my... i thought that was a subie til i read that lol..... imo it might look so bad if done with the right gloss, but a flat balck on an old car i think it looks like either a half a$$ civic project or a replacement part not yet painted,
but as long as we are on the topic,.. how about a carbon fiber roll (obviously fake) and applying it like a decal on the hood? lol

i saw a V Dub at the mall today, red, with the hood painted black in the center it was realy classy
