Sorry if this is a repost but does anyone know where i can get a black grill for cheap?

I am not sure either, I am still looking myself. Now that makes two of us looking for black grills

How is their products? Do they go over or replace the OEM grill?

 

i think you can do either actually.

right now i'm running a DIY mesh grill. Got some gutter guard, zip ties, and black spray paint at home depot and fabb'd it up myself a couple of months back.
I currently have a set of figure LLC mesh grilles powder coated gloss black on order. Everythign came out to 145 shipped to my door. Yeah that's a large difference from the $12.06 i spent a home depot, but hey, my DIY grill looks more and more crappy the more that i look at it, and it needs repalcing anyways.

 

GET GRILLCRAFT... owns all DIY grills... if you want a clean car that not only looks good in myspace pics but when your actually standing next to it you need grillcraft!...



never seen a better looking grill...

i installed mine without the oem grill looks 4x as good.

everything was included when i bought it from Liz @ DNLMotorsports no extra parts needed.

here was mid-install but its a terrible view of it. its just one of those things you really need to get up to and look at yourself. the quality is so tough u cant even really bend it with your arms. and the paint they put on is great ive powerwashed and scrubbed the hell out of it so many times. the front bumper paint of the tC will chip before the grills

 

Agreed. I still haven't seen a better grille set-up than GrillCrafts. Eventually, I want to swap mine out for the Upper Grille and Lower 3-Piece Grille set. Make sure you do it right and get the Lower 3-Piece set and not just the Lower Grille. Looks 10x better when it all matches.

 

why not buy the grill u want... and paint it black? or have it powdercoated. just a suggestion

 

you can always buy an uncut grill and paint it black. i did mine gunmetal and only cost me $20

 

Yea it does look sweet. I am trying to black out everything, and that grill looks like it would do the job

 

well ive got headlight, side mirror, 3rd brakelight, and partial taillight smoke overlays on the way so i'll show u pics when its on

 

Even Grillcraft doesn't make a grill for the tC that COMPLETELY REPLACES the OEM grills, it just bolts over and you can still see the Scion logo. That's what i'm looking for, and i've had no luck whatsoever.

How does that mount? Does it snap on like the stock? Zip ties? I couldn't find one on Ebay. But then again, I don't really know where to look.

comes with black zipties and directions on where to drill your holes. The holes are in locations that if you ever felt like going back to stock, you could put the OEM back and no see any holes.
