Black out lights or not

I have a 2008 Black Sand Pearl Scion tC, and since the tailights are clear, if i black them out will it look funny?

i would smoke but not black out. Too many BSP's with blacked out lights.

I got FM and all my lights with the exception of my headlights smoked.

keep in mind if you black them out than you will eventually get pulled over by the cops. they do that kind of stuff in california and if you get rear ended the fault could be yours.

open them up and paint them, that's the only way to avoid a ticket...since the law says no modification to the OUTSIDE of the lens

And if you get rear-ended I quote BZinn:

x2 on never being pulled over... for the lights. been pulled over a few times for the tinted windshield but they never say anything about any of the lights.

head, tails, and third lights painted
