2. i was more referring to scions' over-fascination with rota's. the monotony kinda gets to you after a while.

 

not to mention the monotony of everyone blatantly ripping off cars they've seen on hellaflush/canibeat/whatever hipster cool-guy blog they read (I'm certain I've seen an IS on ONE of those blogs with a lip full of fcking stickers)

either way....the big cool guy "HATERS" sticker on the front of your lip is rightfully placed.

people will hate, and IMO with good reason.

get meisters or professors, take off your stickers, you've ruined your scion badge

I agree. We need to stop playing of everyone else. wanting to be "hellaflush" is one thing, but doing the same thing as everyone with the same parts and same ideas is another. I want to be flush, so i got professors (which when I got them only 2 tc's had them and maybe a handful of other cars had them), i copied the stickers on the back on the window but now that I see that everyone has them in the SAME spot, they are all coming off for good.

Samneez, do what you want, but I think I explained why people are hating (If I am wrong well then we'll never know).

Why the fascination with what another person is doing with their car?

Him conforming to what someone on the internet deems as acceptable is just as bad as following the current trends in the first place.

 

I dont have Rotas . I love my Enkei's wheels. ive not seen them in any TC yet. ohh yeah. But the Rotas do look pretty nice.

 

I like his car. it looks good besides the ugly fogs.

the wheels look good IMO (maybe bc I love NYNCTC prof's), its finally great seeing another set of rota's other then torque/grids/dpt's that are aggressive.

what i think flintmica is trying to say is that he is glad it is a different wheel. rota or not. their is so much of the same wheel floating around.

yes there are other options besides rotas. yes there are other options besides stickers and hellaflush, but the guy chose to be a little different and get D2s.

i think we are just taking this too seriously. some of us like the style, others dont. if we all agreed on one style the car scene would go no where. we need the constant change and the trying of new things to keep the scene fresh. am i saying that tampatc is keeping the scene moving by changing it, no, he just adding to the "hellaflush" style. but at least he is trying something (and not being a ricer).
