Hey I just received my Whelen 90watt 4 bulb strobe light kit today and hopefully on Sunday my day off I can install these bad boys. Now all I have to do is figure out the best location in my car lights to mount them and the best way to mount them. Any buddy with experience that would like to give me some advise I would greatly appreciate it.

nah what i plan to do is park my car infront of my work becuz i believe one of my fellow managers is stealing ____ and I will use my new digital camcorder to video tape his ___ doing it then I will flip on the lights and scary the living ____ out of him. J/K... or am I. Nah I plan to use it to ____ off all this guys in there 4x4 pickups when they turn on their high beams behind me and blind the hell out of me, so i pull onto shoulder of road pull up behind them and then flip on my lights, I wonder which one of us would get more scared. Just Kidding. This is strictly for show not for practical use.

Back to the STROBES...

That's something great to have for shows... and I'm really liking your "stock to shock" theme.

Just got my strobes installed today but ran out of time due to a cookout i had to attend and also the fact that it was dark out and I have a splitting headache from the strobe lights... but they are installed all I have to do is run the wires into the interior and find a mounting spot for it and then I need to think of what I am gonna do about some switches. Because I want to be able to cut off the power from the unit when it is not running and the whelen power supply has a control wire for the3/4&5/6 outputs for strobes and a control wire to choose the different patterns. So I am gonna try to figure out what I want to do about that tonight. Either wire the 3/4&5/6 directly to battery and break the power wire to the supply with the switch and install a seperate switch to change the different patterns... Decisions decisions

^ dang, the whelens were pricey and didn't come with a switch panel... I'd definately suggest others look at the liteglow HIS100, it comes with a switch panel and all the wiring... pain to wire it all up... but, all there.

what was difficult about the install or was it just time consuming? I'm pretty good at wiring, but i don't want to get myself into something I won't be able to finish.
