My Tc is BSP, i already have a cf front lip. I'm debating whether i should get the Kamanari Kit or just finish the cf lip kit? Any ideas?

 

i personally like lip kits just cuz theyre more subtle and clean imo, but ive also seen some really nice body kit as well

I'd choose the lip kit.

 

A bod kit because too many have lip kits your just gona look like 4000 other BSP tc. Lip kits are just the cheap way of tryin to turn ur car into something.

 

ha ha. Lets say this, lip kits are easy install and some are no painting. Body kits, well you better pray that you have the best molded body kit out there cause all ive seen is uneven lines that dont match up. Oh yea, dont forget to paint it. just my .02

 

BTW- body kits just scream to me "Fast and the Furious"

Yea a body kit if u want professionally done is about 500 dollars to make it fit and look nice with the lines all even.

Fast and The Furious came out after Universal studios saw that import cars were the "in" thing along with body kits, graphics, and customization. Customization has been out for ever.

Everybody with the Eclipse with the Combat body kit. Thats the rip off. Same as the obnoxious green color.

I wish they had more options on body kits for the tc, cause im probably going to buy the kamanari kit cause i hear it fits the best, plus its one of my favorites, im thinking about some fender flares or the universal side scoop done professionally

 

Anything you do, do it with intention, paint and fit must be on point otherwise it looks cheap. That goes for front lips, full lip kits and body kits.

Body kits can look really bad depending on what kit it is and how it's installed. Personally, I'm all about the lip kits and keeping a clean look. You're going to get all kinds of answers on this kind of thing. You should really think about what you want your car to look like and not what others think.

 

the whole lip kit versus body kit debate always boils down to personal preference. Full body kits tend to be more flashy while as stated above, lips give a sleeker more laid back stance to the car.

I personally went with a lip kit, because flashy just isnt me. For shows though, this just isnt working out. I've been losing lately to tC's with full body kits and such.

i think when it comes to shows there should be seperate categories for the people going for the sleeper look rather then the tuner look. It just really isnt fair to say that people with big "flashy" body kits can win out over those who have spent lots of time and effort to make their car "clean"
