Try this...

https://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=124868

Installation will depend on the kit you get.

Thanks for those links, they are very helpful...

But I would like to see if there are pics from people on the forum that actually have any of these bodykits installed, not just photoshopped PR photos. Anybody?

Nick,

Just had a quick question for you. Did you have any fitment issues with the side skirts with this kit? My kit is in the process of getting painted right now, and I was just curious because I have heard some things regarding that. If you did have issues, what did you have to do to resolve them?

Thanks in advance!

You should be test fitting all parts before you paint them. Prepainting parts 95% of the time leads to a problem during install unless they are oem parts.

I test fit the front and rear bumpers. I didn't bother with the side skirts.
Nonetheless, good tip.

Yes I had problems with the side skirts. They dont fit tight enough to the stock ones and from opening and closing the door it has cracked the paint in the corner of the door. I test fitted aevery thing, but it wasnt possible to tell it was hitting. I plan on having the kit professionally fitted in the future then the car resprayed. It really is a hassle doing your own kit. I dont know if I would do it again myself.

I got the front and rear bumpers put on tonight. My cousin helped me install it. Took about one hour. We didn't have time for the side skirts. I will let you know how that turns out! Thanks for replying to my question!

I have the touring kit in polyurethane and really like it. However, I have read so much bashing about it being ugly........so I am reluctant to post pics. Will take some soon and PM them if you'd like.

Opinions are subjective and therefore I chose not to take part in any criticizm, especially from anyone who hasn't seen the kit in person...... (as long as I am happy.......it's all that matters....right?)

As for fitment, it was great. I payed 1,000 for paint and to have it put on.

Nick, very nice job.........loved your kit pictures.

Hey, send some pics my way. This kit sounds familiar, but I'd love to see some of your pics!

I cut part of the bumper for my HKS. It was fine around town but the first 2 hour drive I did, it slightly burnt my bumper. I would say change the exhaust.

As far as the buddy club and the kaminari kit, the kaminari has MUCH better fitment out of the box. But it still isnt perfect. One of the clips on the rear bumper was broken and I talked to another owner who has the same issue.
