Brake light issue 07 tC..
Ok, just spent the better part of 2 hrs cruising the topics here and found awesome info on the HVAC issue with the headlights and climate control. Gonna tackle that next.
So here is the issue:
Passenger side brake light went out. Got a new set of bulbs 7334's, and when they were changed, they all quit working.
(The individual that replaced them actually replaced the turn signal bulbs not the brake light bulbs because I could see they were still burnt thru the lens.)
So pulled out the right bulbs and put the grease on and plugged them in and nothing for brake lights or the 3rd brake light now. Now they supposedly checked the fuses and all were fine.
Checked brake switch and while it was wiggled it came on for a second then nothing so by reasonable deduction thinking brake switch. Is that something that is easy to do for DIY?
Checked prices to get it done and it's about $150=$40 for the part and $100 labor. No indication of a kiss first or anything!
Whatcha'all think?
Thanks!!

Brake-light circuit is not intuitive. Switch actually turns OFF (disconnects) to turn ON brake-lights. This is failsafe measure in case switch fails, brake-lights will be ON full-time.
So your switch is stuck in ON/connected position. What pushes on switch and turns it OFF, is rubber button on upper portion of brake-pedal. Without that button in place, your brake-lights won't work.
