it looks freakin amazing. Bronze rims Own me. I was thinking about doing the same exact thing for my FM but with slight modifications.

And may i also add that it came out looking very very professional. Awesome job my crafty friend.

 

Looks like you did a great job with the paint, but I'm not feeling the color for an AP tC. AP seems like such a difficult color to choose wheel color for, as black centers/spokes don't appear optimal either. I was considering white, but then the grills and any other black trim would need to be done in white too. Oh well, if you like them and they make you happy, that's all that really matters.

 

you shld also kick the jack stand out from under that civic in the second picture

I'd go with either bronze, white or gold on the AP, if you want to stay withthe basic colors. Black is nice but way too common on this car. I would even consider a off the wall color , but that's another story.

Nice job on the paint. Though I would suggest painted the lugs and chucking the center caps (not throw them away, just keep them off the car). But all in all I'd give it a 8.5/10. It probably looks way better in person too.

 

I actually was looking to do gold but couldn't find the gold paint!

I was aiming for VHT polyurethane gold or Wurth German GOld paint. but no luck.

maybe i will paint the lug nuts next time , cause i do want to paint the calipers. not sure what color yet.

 

Looks good. Black lugs and no center caps would complete the look.

Duplicolor Bronze Wheel paint, it's called High performance wheel coating.

mad props......can you explain the process you went through? i dont need specific details i jsut need to know how many times u ahd to sand it to look like that so nice and clean hehe

I sanded it down with 600 grit sand paper then cleaned the rim. Primed, Paint and clear coat.
