here'a a pic.

haha it was a biatch the only thing i hated about the install was that i had very little room to work with. placed the car on jack stands. the stock exhaust and the hks piping was rubbing on my chest. i could barely move around with my rachet. i recommend using ramps instead of jacks stands in this case.

you took some kick ___ pic's Zack

I can tell you this, it's a hell of a lot cleaner then whoever the hells car this is. And by the way, a tC can't ever really be JDM because it's only sold domestically, so get some class and learn how to mod.
that is my car and it is not stock. my car is also far from done. here are my mods. trd springs, trd sway bar, silverstars, dc sports strut bar, weapon r damper kit, tint 30 on the front and 20 in the rear, blah blah blah. check out my profile. granted, the hks exhaust takes away from the clean look, but i do plan on boosting my car in december. by that time i will have more than enough money for turbo kit, better brake setup as well as any other necessary equipment.

the reason why i only have a the axle back because there isn't any company willing to sell me just the midpipe with a high flow cat(preferably catco). i am also waiting for the s-pipe to come out. i will not be getting a header because that would be just plain stupid. as i stated above, i will be going turbo later this year so a aftermarket header will be completely useless after the turbo install.

your statement about the tc being JDM is true, but let me rephrase

since the tc is made specifically for the American market. even though it was 100% made in Japan, it can't be called JDM because JDM basically means Japanese Domestic Market, if japanese people do not drive tC's in Japan, it can't be called JDM.

That's one of the worst looking exhausts I have ever seen, please remove it and bash it in with a mallet. Then bash your self in with the mallet too. That exhaust is soooo cockeyed ahahah.
the angle of the exhaust isn't just for looks it holds a performance value. here is a direct quote from hksusa.com

"Inspired and designed from endurance and GT racing in Japan, HKS developed its Hi-Power Exhaust system for both turbocharged and naturally aspirated applications. HKS has incorporated this new race inspired offset muffler and piping design into many street applications, which offers a greater flow and higher-PRM power gains due to the less restrictive design. This is achieved by eliminating unnecessary bends for the straightest exhaust path.

For turbocharged applications, the large and smooth exhaust flow allows greater exhaust velocity for better mid-range boost response and high-RPM power. Naturally aspirated vehicles also benefit from greater exhaust flow capacity as engine tuning levels increase."

i would love to see you say, "That's one of the worst looking exhausts I have ever seen, please remove it and bash it in with a mallet." to a WRX, Supra, RX-7, Evo owner who owns one of these angled exhaust systems.

oh yeah, i do not disagree with you on all points about the angle exhaust. some people do these custom angle exhausts half-assed. they get a universal muffler and cut the factory muffler at the very end of the exhaust system and mount the universal muffler there. it looks ___ and no real performance. period.

I'm with Woodyear on the look of the exhaust. But I also believe to each his own. I cringed at the exhaust, it's huge. Anyway just my thought, I just plan on a Magnaflow.

LOL, woodyear you just got bashed. and i'm gonna bash on you even more.

HKS 's hipower exhaust isn't necessarily JDM. they took a universla exhaust and custom fit it in HERE since tCs are only here and sent it back to Japan to get it produced and approved. so thats not realy JDM. just because other JDM cars uses HKS means that ours IS JDM.

and if you dislike the exahust so much jsut move on and don't make this a big deal. you only embarrass yourself like nuts

ouch. but poopie exhuast was funny hehe...

Daoist saying: beautiful words are not truthful and truthful words are not beautiful.

If HKS owners are happy with it more power to you. I hate to agree with such an angry midget, but I understand his opinion. I'm not to crazy about a blunt smokin exhaust angle either.... Now if I wasn't such a 30 year old fart and was younger I would probably think that was the sheeeeet.

To each their own, I hear that exhaust sounds awesome.

I didnt get bashed, no one has dissproven anything I've said. If you think angling some axleback exhaust is going to help ur cars "high performance" you're living in a dream world. You're gaining maybe a single hp at the wheels, but probably not even that. Angling your crummy exhaust just makes your car look dumb, with a minimal gain. Your car isn't JDM, you are not JDM, you're car isn't cool, you are not cool. Angling your exhaust won't make either you, or your car, cool. Wearing a lame wristband on your arm, and a cellphone holster on your waist won't make you cool. No, my car isn't any faster than yours, I haven't gotten into any performance mods because theres nothing I really want to do right now short of a turbo/supercharger. I've done the suspension, I've got it looking how I want it to look. When the time comes, I'll boost it to a reasonable level and have a great looking car with good getup, I'm only looking to kill 350z's and srt-4's, not lambos. Bottom line is this, removing youre hood and hatch and seats and roof and windsheild will all make your car noticeably more fast than angling some ugly exhaust, but you wouldn't do it. Why you ask? Because it's ____ing stupid, and even as dumb as some of you guys are, I'm guessing your not retarded (possibly borderline retards though). You've destroyed any cleanliness your car has, will have, or could theoretically have with that exhaust. So once again, I command you remove it and bash it with a mallet, then bash yourself as well.

wow you got ***** to say that. iono what is wrong with you but i think you constantly misread things. we nevre said that this exhaust will greatly improve our performance. and even with a s/c i don't believe you can kill 350zs and srt-4s.

that angled look looks great, and with HKS, you can't go wrong. despite the fact that its an axleback, it is STILl better than stock.

Woody, have your opinion, stated your opinion, your done with your opinion. No one needs to argue with anyone, if he thinks it looks horrible, let him.

I like the exhaust...I've heard it sounds sort of like the JIC does for the xb. If it does, i imagine it sounds great.

Clean ride, keep it that way.
