Default Bulbs whiter than SilverStars

Last week I bought some new bulbs called HALO from the dealer. I asked the guy there if they would fry my harnesses like Luminics or other aftermarket bulbs would and he called the company to find out for me. They said that i should be fine and have had no problems so far. So I asked him if anything happens to my harnesses will they cover it for me. He told me yes, they will take care of it because it was bought from them.

Before I put these in I was running SilverStars and all my friends thought my lights were nice and white and loved them. Now, they like these better and say that they look great coming down the street or coming up behind them.

Anyway, the bulbs are larger than SilverStars and have more of a chrome looking tint to them until you shine light through them (like flash from a camera). I don't really like the blue bulbs/housing look that some people go for..and these won't make your housing real blue, but if you look at them from certain angles you can see a hint of the blue. Here are some pics I took today. I actually gave my friend my SilverStars so I wasn't able to get the dark garage pictures to compare them to the Halos, but just compare them to the stockers for now...

Enjoy! And let me know what you guys think.

The bulb isn't blue unless light is passing through it. And here, it's the flash from the camera. 2x the size of stockers and SilverStars.

Both Stock.
Both Halos.
This pic, and all below it are of Halos. I just don't know why they look kind of yellowish..

They don't look brighter to me. Just whiter. I prefer JDM yellow to cut down on glare and reduce eye strain.

But why? Your reducing your visibility.

HID RetroFit > HID Stock Housing > Stock Bulbs > Hyper White Bulbs.

Damn dude you lost quite a bit of your visibility. When I get the time to roll up to one of the SD meets and you're there, I'll show you the HIDs and you'll toss those in a heatbeat

They are actually HID's not SilverStars lol and they cost me 300 dollars, but they are imports from japan so I dont think any one is going to have the same make or brand... I dont know what the brand is, my boy hooked me up with them and they are the actual kit for the tC so they are really nice...

Oh thanks for reminding me. The ones I have are called the Platinum White. There's also Super White, Violet and the yellow one.

Just took a look at my Yellow H4's.. says they are 90w, is that going to be too much for the stock wiring? Crap, if so, why would they make it so high if it melts the wire harness??
