Burned back bumper! =(
I just got my JP Vizage lip kit installed and I have the Injen exhaust that burned and peeled the back lip around the exhaust! My exhaust sits behind the lip and I see many other exhausts on SL that protrude passed the opening in the bumper, which I think would solve the problem. I am thinking I could cut the bumper up a half inch or so to hopefully give enough room for hot exhaust, some how extend the exhaust so it does not rest behind the lip, or buy a CF cover to place around the opening. Of these options or others that I may not be aware of, what would work the best?
I will post a pic tomorrow! Thanks

Yeah... where can these longer hangers be found?
On another note... you don't think cutting the bumper or half inch would help?
or even buying a plate to position around the lip of the bumper?

i have the megan drift spec exhaust with a carbon fiber heat sheild to protect my bumper, i also just heated the hanger and bent it away from the bumper to insure a better fitment
so just try heating and bending for a quick fix idk where to get longer hangers

also with that CF heat shield... the one on ebay won't fit your kit... it's made specifically for a stock tc bumper... so it looks like you need to fix your exhaust or get a complete new one.
