BuzzKillington (for a tC owner)
So Apparently I hit up a garage to install my Megan Racing headers and the bums told me that by replacing my current headers they would have to take out my Cat. Coverter. By removing that piece, I'd be f-ed because my car would never pass inspection or emissions.
What modifications do you guys recommend?

yeah, that first cat absolutely needs to be removed for a header. depending on what inspection laws are like in your state, you may be okay without it, if not you can probly add another cat inline after your header, but any performance gains will suffer.
You have two cats. on the car, one is built in to the stock exhaust manifold, the second one is after the s-pipe. Some states are cool with just one, as long as you have one. Both seem kinda over kill if you ask me. But if you live in California, yeah your screwed.
I'm from VA,
But like the dude told me that I'd be ____ed because w/out the cat, the sensor will think the car is broken thus turning on the engine check light and for emissions the shear fact that the ____ is on will fail my ___.
however before i install imma go to P-Tuning and get the scoop. no matter they are under warranty and I still have time to return them its just I want them on so bad.

I have the Weapon R header, and all I did was just screw the O2 sensor in to the supplied hole in the header, and I have had no CEL. As far as the bottom O2 sensor you are going to have to get a CEL canceler pipe for the S pipe where the second 02 sensor is. My Weapon R came with one. I have installed it and never had a problem.

i would never let a garage touch my car if they didnt know that the CEL you get while installing a header is fixable...
Megan is terrible.
Should've gotten the nebster brand headers. Whats wrong with this header?

I have the same header... do you have the 4-2-1 or the 4-1? I also have the CEL fix and no lights for me. Haven't tried emissions yet though, time will tell with that. The car won't sound terrible as long as you get the right combo of resonator and muffler. Popular resonator size is a 30in, helps alot with rasp.
I have a 30in resonator and an injen SES and I have no rasp. It gets loud at high RPM but no rice in a can sound what so ever.
