Default Caliper painting

I am about to paint my calipers (for the second time) and wanted to see if anyone had any suggestions on paint. Last time I used 500 degree engine enamel, but a year later it has faded and chipped (could be poor prep). Would the brush on caliper paint be more durable?

Brush on caliper paint kit from Autozone works like a charm.

probably the most important thing is prep work. make sure everything is clean and degreased, that way the paint will stick. and give it pleanty of drying time.

I ended up the G2 kit.

I am doing this in midst a rotor/pad change and was concerned that the heat cycling to break in the pads would affect the paint. So, this stuff is a two part epoxy and is supposed to hold up to 1000 degrees.

Hopefully I won't have to do this again.

There are many correct ways of doing this, the easy slap the paint on after a little degreasing and taping worked for the past 3 cars I've done. All three have well over a year and are still shiny here in salty air Florida. Mine shine right up with a wet rag while washing the car.
