Swapped my engine cover for a camry one. Looks awesome....VVTI in red and rest in silver...anyone else try this?

what i want to know is why they didnt just put these on the TC from the factory

yes standard on all 2003 and up camrys

My dad has a camery and i did it a while back. Accents the engine bay a bit. I was wondring the same thing of why they didn't do it from the factory.

 

well i just put the blue valve cover stickers on mine...they dont look bad, but they dont look as good either!!!

 

where can you find a camry valve cover?

just find some random camry owner and ask them to trade, 99% of them wont even know they have an engine cover

 

YEA JUNK YARDS ARE THE SH*T... I GOT AN AUTO DIMMING MIRROR FOR $25... FROM A WRECKED TC... although i think the chips got toasted when it had the accident... but looks nice tho... i might find another one somewhere... but yea JUNK YARDS ARE THE SH*T!

 

My mom got 05 camry and i tried and didn't match. so i put them back

 

i thought it wouldnt fit at first cause it had 2 extra holes but they are just supports that the camry has but the tc doesnt, actually makes the engine cover more stable than the stock one

 

i like that, it a adds a sweet subtle look of custom... like its not a slap you in the face 6' tall wing... but if you own a tc and looked in your engine bay you'd say hey how did you get yours colored?

You could acheive the same effect with a $3 paint pen from the hobby shop. Replacing the whole cover to get 4 red letters seems... excessive.

 

Would the Solara one fit too? I remember it looking the same. I think the RAV4 has the same one too...
