I have seen on the xb forums that a lot of the owners are removing the vinyl that covers the b pillars on their vehicles. Underneath the vinyl there is perfectly good paint. I have noticed that there is some sort of black vinyl that covers our doors on the b pillars as well. I was wondering if I were to remove this vinyl would there be paint underneath. Has anyone done this or am I S*** out of luck?

how hard was it to take off? i've been debating taking it off on my rs4...

 

it was a PIA. i had two friends help me out. took forever and my fingers hurt in the end. =(

but def. worth it though!

I like it also. Looks good on certain colors. And yes, it takes a really long time because the vinyl breaks and it's hard to get big sections off.
