Default carbon fiber or fiber glass hoods have same latches OEM?

is there a carbonfiber or fiberglass hood that installs exactly the same as the OEM hood? it seems the more i read about the hoods they are more for off road use only because you have to install hood pins and do extra work for it to actually stay down...is there a brand that fits in just like stock (has same latches) preferably with the air vents

I will have to look at mine to see if it is part of the subframe or if it is screwed. I have had it on for 3 years and the thing doesn't rattle or shake above 80 on the highway

what brand and model is your hood? yeah it would be nice to find one similar to the OEM latch..i wonder why they don't make them like that in the first place? i'm pretty sure people wouldn't mind spending a little more for a hood that you would feel secure driving on the freeway with

I have the Kaminari. I recommend buying it. It is vented, and the latch holds just like OEM.

Sorry for the bad pics, but you get the idea.

They go for $1,000 new give or take.

Look on their site. They lowered their prices a month or two ago.
