I just ordered my hood yesterday and i was wondering whats the best way to keep it from fading and turning yellow??? Should i wax it like once a week or something and which wax would be the best to use?

^x2 about trying to avoid the sun. keep it well waxed too that'll help protect the UV protectant clear coat.

I can't speak for CF hoods, but I can say that paste waxes last longer than liquid waxes in terms of when they are out in the elements.

Note also there is a difference between Wax and Cleaner Wax. Make sure you don't use a cleaner wax more than about 3 times a year or so. I think I read can wear down the clear coat prematurely if used too often.

If you have the funds get hood clear coated, the clear coat has UV protectors in it,but also be sure to keep it clean like any paint, and polish and wax it regularly. Most waxes have UV protectants in them and they will help, unless you liev in like Cali,Arizona,Texas,or some other large sun state it should last several years without fading depending on what brand you got.
