Thats a pretty big $$ jump from fixing dent to buying cf hatch. And it also costs a good amount to have the old glass switched over to new hatch. IMO, it would be more cost effective to just fix it than spend $700+ on cf hatch. But if you have your heart set on one, it would be a good excuse to buy one!!!

Fitment seems to be an issue, and I have not yet seen one that sits right with the body.... really dissapointed with them...

bBist is the place im considering getting the cf trunk because it seems that they mainly deal with scion cars and the try to make everything fit as factory would. All those other places deals with a wide veriety (SP?) and wont be able to just focus on ond body style. Well i guess i will just have to wait and see for my self. Thanks Guys!

i got mine from Bbist... the hood and the trunk.... before i bought them i was very worried about fitment because i had seen some CF trunks on the turbonetics open house that had fitment(gaps) issues... but i love how the bbist CF trunk and hood came out i was even able to put back the plastic moldings that came with the original trunk

julez, how much did it cost you to have the glass removed and replaced?

i think u gotta use new struts, most of the hatches that i have seen being sold come with new struts.

i would like to do this, but i would need to switch out the hatches at the glass place (and have a truck or van with me to carry the hatch) which seems to be a challenge for me. im also not sure if my current spoiler would look good with a CF hatch =\

the bBist hatch probably has the best fitment and finish. the Motorfx hatch has an spoiler molded in. the VIS hatch is probably the sturdyest (and heaviest).

Nice CF hatch. I think the bBist hatch would be the best. Maybe someone should photoshop the spoiler on the CF hatch.

yes that was me at the krispy cream meet... but i didnt have my lights smoked then... oh and about the hydraulic pumps that hold the trunk up, i did not put them back on.... the trunk is so light that it pushes it up with the oem hydraulic pumps. i ve been meaning to get other hydraulic pumps but i never open my trunk because i dont have any room back there...

oh and thanks for the compliments and i think bbist had the cheapest price on the trunk from what i saw when i researched it

How is the interior side of the trunk? Does it look anything like stock. Also does it rattle if you have a system on the back? Thanks!
