i dont care what all you say and ive gotten flammed about it before, nut yes i am sponsored by carsponsorships.com. i filled out an application online and about 3 months later i got a phone call saying i was accepted. i never payed that $89 thing because they liked my car so much. anyways i get disscounts on parts that would normaly have outragious prices. also because ive done good at car shows i recieve free parts. im not allowed to discuss the prices of my sponsores items. vertical doors inc. kyowa racing wheels, street fx are some of my sponsors, i have 15 total. decalkits.com is a full sponsorship and they send me vinyle and decal kits free., also stoner which is car care supplies is a full sponsorship. some are quasi sponsorships which give you discounts on car parts. but all in all im satisfied with it. it may not be the best "sponsor" in some peoples eyes, but everyone has to start somewhere, even if its at the bottom of the barrel. with that said, i hope im not flammed on too much or at all, im just being honest about what carsponsorships.com has done with me so far. also my sponsor is sending me some free interior led bars from street fx, and if you know their prices, they are up there. lol anyways i said what i said lol

Sorry Scion_jon, but I tried this back when I first got my tC and got alll the same "Sponsors" also, and many others as well, with just stock cars...

It's a "Discount" program in the least, and extends all the same "Discounts" to anyone who spends the 80 or so bucks...

There are a few threads on how to pick up sponsorships, but realize, it takes a lot of time, a lot of shows, and a lot of money to get them...

I figured it was a scam...lol. So what is the true or best way to get sponsored? I guess just go to shows and show people how dedicated you are to your car?

Wow if they liked your car stock car so incredibly much and gave you so much free stuff, I should get free cars sent to me for what I have. Not trying to flame to hard but you wrote that like you have this amazing car with amazing mods. EVERY person that I have seen talk about carsponsorships.com got SPONSORED by the same companies as you. So something tells me its just the same scam over and over. Getting free detailing kits and decals, isnt doing much for modding the car. Now if they are seding you a free set of wheels, which obviously they didnt. Or a free set of vertical doors, which it looks like you dont have, then yes I would say you got a good deal.

Read this thread:
https://www.scionlife.com/forums/vie...t=sponsorships

Ignore the parts where are they talking about particular (local) companies (since this thread is from a regional area forum) but there's some great advice in that thread on acquiring a sponsorship.
