I would get some aftermarket lightweight 17''s ... thats definitely what im doing next ... I think I'm going to buy the konig feathers in flat black, or the motega tracklite's

anything from 14 to 17 lbs would be a nice improvement off the line than the heavy stock 21 lbers. And both rims you can get in a 7.5 or 8 " rim so run some 235's for some nice traction

 

^^^Exactly what I've been thinking. I'd like to get a set of light, slightly wider 17's. Put a lil more rubber to the road

Powdercoating the stockies would be ok for looks, but thats it...looks. Might as well upgrade performance-wise slightly.

 

So it's been a bit over a month since these pix and i've got some new ones! Went out earlier today and shot these

-OBX Sport Pedal Covers
-Door Sill Enhancements
-Rear Cargo net and carpet
-Rear Bumper Protector
-Anzo LED Tails (slightly modded to my liking )
-In Channel Rain Guards
-Front/Rear Hotchkis Sways
-Oznium TBL
-Dr. ISO Trans. End Cable Bushings and Radiator Cooling Plate
-Rain X Latitude Wipers (gotta try and compensate for the lack of speed of the wipers somehow )


Leaving for school this week so this is how she's pretty much gonna sit until next spring.

When you changed your tbl out, did you notice that the lower right part of the garnish, sits 'odd' after installing it back in?

 

what type of paint did you use to paint the shield of your header?

 

where do you guys get this bad ___ headlight overlay? its not bluebat's since i have those and my black ones don't look like that.

 

 

and correct me if i'm wrong but those are blue bats overlays, i think you just didnt get the best set, it happens.

No not really, fit back on just fine. I'll check it out more closely though to see if it is.



I used duplicolor's high heat paint.

I sorta DO like those LED tail lights!....

If I had the $$$ I consider those...I would prob. overlay the top part as well!

 

I'm not sure if i'm ever even going to get a set. I've been thinking about the 17" axis reverbs in gold. But I'm also debating just getting the stockers powdercoated and saving the money for other things....

i like the headlight and tail overlays....does anyone know if bluebat have em' in waveline pearl (WP)?

 

im really liking your car man. i love what you did to the anzos. and yeah those overlays on your headlights are sick.

He does make the overlays in any color, though I'm not sure how well WP vinyls would match the paint. It's probably a pretty difficult color to replicate on vinyl.

I'm pretty sure I saw somebody a couple weeks ago post up pix of there WP with the eyelids and it didn't look right...
