Has anyone seen a carbon fiber exhaust guard for a tC?? I saw one on an evo at battle of the imports in joliet. Just wondering if they've got one for a tC.

Just curious... but does it actually serve any purpose? I guess if you're going with a CF theme, it would be another part to add to the list...

 

For some exhausts, the opening is a little high and close to the bumper and could cause parts of the bumper to boil and melt (in that order? :D ) The purpose of this guard, theoretically would be to guard the bumper against that heat.

 

yea that would be one reason, another would be to catch the catalyst and soot from gettin on the bumper and making it all black, especially on a white car like mine. Once i'm turbo and catless, it'll serve a purpose

I was thinking bout getting one because a couple of days ago i was lookin at my bumper and above my exhaust theres dookie from the tip.

i'm interested in one. my exhaust bubbled my paint on my Kaminari bumper.

 

I actually like it. My other car had a bunch of carbon buildup from the exhaust...wish they made something like this for bimmers.

 

Carbon fiber is never rice its to cool looking... now if it was fake painted carbon fiber then yes. Anyways I think its cool but I would pay 75 bucks for it.

 

looks good, but you can get your own cf and make it yourself.
