I want a carbon fiber hood but cant find it anywhere under 650 after shipping, and for my 700 i have i would like to get the c.f hood and a couple other things. is there anywhere cheaper or if i go to ebay and get a real brand c.f hood would that be fine. thanks

just stick to the oem cf hood. unless you have a kit on, which i dont think you do..

yep, my gf got me a seibon c/f hood christmas for a lil over $300 picked up. (there was some negotiating involved)

 

why is no one a fan of the Seibon VS-II hood i love it! you can make it work but just the hood alone i'm not to crazy about. here's pics of mine

its not bad, but it wouldnt be my first choice, or second, maybe third or fourth

 

my hood is pretty old though. it was really dark but due to the sun it turned yellowish so that's the only reason it looks "odd" but you guy's have your opinions

 

i though about the VSII but wasn't willing to spend that kind of dough and then not be into it. so i opted for the OEM. i haven't seen the VSII in person so i can't really speak on it.

dave, didn't we talk about this in another forum; people not doing their homework. the kamanari (sp??) is the only hood i know of over 600 hunnies

there's a SSM thread with tons of SSMs/CSMs with CF hood. you're killing me here. lock this thing up, this is crazy. how old are you, 5?? can you do anything for yourself? you 're not even looking for hard stuff. i'm usually not mean, but cats' are killing me with posts like this.
