Default CF rear hatch window question

I was looking at getting the CF hatch, but am wondering about the rear glass. Would I still be able to use the rear glass that's on my car right now and just transfer it to the CF hatch? Or would I have to get a brand new rear glass window to put on the CF hatch? Also, I heard that glass doesn't stick well with CF....is that true?
Does anybody have the CF rear hatch installed on their Tc to offer any suggestions?
Please help me out with this problem.

Thanks

you will use the glass that is in your car now. The best thing to do is take your car and the new rear hatch to a professional glass installer. they will hook you up

the trim panels? you will need to take the clips out of the OEM hatch and put them in the CF one. Everything from the OEM hatch should fit in/on the CF hatch.

good to know since i've had a VIS hatch sittin here since Dec 06.

i was wondering if i should just get new glass and have it installed, but found out that it would cost around $600 for just the glass from the dealer and then another $100 or so to have it installed.

so i got quoted $150 to transfer hatch glass from stock to CF hatch, which seems like the best option. i was also quoted $300 for hatch glass off a totaled tC to have it installed onto my CF hatch.

decisions decisions decisions...
