what tape is strong enough for the cf rear lip install? i got a "big style" lip and i really don't wanna bolt it on and drill through the hatch......i picked up some double sided 3m tape today from a hardware store but it wasnt even close to strong enough.

 

man i dont know you think its safe to use tape over drilling and bolting it? i dont know doesn't sound safe to me, might just fall off eventually

 

you probably bought the wrong Double sided tape. I know that there's different double sided tapes for certain "stickiness" i guess you can say. Some read 2lbs or 5lbs or something like that i think. Or .. Maybe its a sign saying double sided tape is a bad idea ...

 

nah i never actually put the spoiler on...i just tested it with my finger...and when my it pulled off my finger without any trouble i figure it'd pull off the car in seconds....i just talked to badseed though....he said autozone and pep boys carry 3M Molding tape....i'll check that out and report back here tomorrowish

5lb tape.... that stuff is awesome.

 

3m vhb industrial tape works as well
