I am not a very wealthy man and was wondering if anyone had some cheap mods to make my car look more clean and luxurious! When I say cheap I mean under $200.

 

For under $200, i'd get some springs and maybe an s2k antenna (i dont like the stock antenna) and I had the stock ride height of the car.

umnitza dde's are like 150 and make the car look like a bmw

window tint works too

 

yea, tints are incredibly necessary too, but for under $200, only being able to choose one, I go with springs, but tints are a CLOSE 2nd

 

very responsive, and when i said under 200 i was looking for multiple mods under 200 but you have helped alot

 

also can anyone answer the following question about the Umnitza DDE Angel Eyes

1.) Does anyone have a pic of these at night?
2.) Does anyone know if you can replace the stock bulb to something more crisp white (blue tinted) instead of ____ yellow?
3.) are they black housing or chrome housing?

there's tons of bulbs out there. everything from silverstars to HID's

they're just rings. you install them into your stock housings.

 

well then honestly i will just wait for the new umnitza HID projectors to come out, ill just have to save till then i guess!

what type of springs are the best to get?

 

mild drop- trd

anything more- stech's or hotchkis

I have TRDs myself which was a great decision b/c I had defects with my rear shocks, and when i brought it to the dealer, they replaced it under warranty even though I didn't have the springs installed there. If I had more extreme springs, they could have and would have said that the springs could have done it, so they wouldn't cover it. So I recommend the TRDs, but I honestly like the hotchkis a minor touch better lookswise.

 

ok so its decided im going to go with TRD for the springs, umnitza for the projector/hids, now lets talk CAI and Exhaust wow those are more expensive. I was thinking Injen CAI and HSK exhaust

 

blah, the hks exhaust sounds like crap, especially once you decide to open up the rest of the exhaust.

 

ok so how about just the TRD exhaust?

 

do you ever plan on completing your exhaust? aka header/spipe/midpipe?

if so, the TRD gets very loud and raspy. try another (i use precision mufflers axleback w/ my headerback setup and it sounds just fine)

I know right, modding your car is like an addiction, first you start off small thinking you wont get addicted blah blah blah, next thing you know your purchasing a ZPI Stage 1 Turbo for 5G!
