Looks kinda ok on that car though, wonder if they did the lower grill too.
i knew someone would say this but it takes effort to make anything look good. You put a half-**** job and u get half-**** quality! What im trying to say is that grill looks in perfect shape!

It's not actually all that stupid. . . a car company gets to share the costs of a plant with a competitor, and produce certain models in it, and one benefits from parts/cars. It's a temporary partnership that reduces costs, to guage demand for certain markets/models. That way, they can build more cars, without having to build a new plant, as it would be more efficient to wait until the benfits of building a new plant could be fully realized. If they were to build a new plant, and only use 50% of the capacity, it would be a waste of potentially invested resources, as plants/equipment depreciate.

It's kinda like Toyota's JIT inventory approach, but applied to physical capital.

The 9-2X is designed to be quieter as well, and is still a reasonably priced car for what you get.

My little brother has a Vibe and everything under the hood has Toyota all over it. Also, it's VVT-i for those of you who are VVT-i happy. This has been done for years. I believe it was the Geo Prizm that was a rebadged Corolla.
