so here's what i did, without even realizing that it would stand out so much i decided to paint the chrome molding around the grill a nice bright red, lol i have some interior parts of my tc painted red and i figured what hay ill paint the chrome thingy too! so now ive got this "lipstick" look going on with the front end. i just need something else red on the front end to balance it out... any suggestions?

well thats a good idea but i want to keep the red theme going cuz im eventually guna get black and red rims n such

 

black it out till you get those extra red parts. lol. save yourself the humiliation till then.

 

What would I do? Well instead of wasting money trying to match it, I would just buy different grilles like VRD or Fig...if you really want to keep the look, then I would:

1. Paint calipers red
2. red underglow
3. red parking lights
4. paint your horns red or get after market Hella horns
5. Black-out the Scion emblem and paint the lettering red
6. Red lugs
7. Aftermarket wheels with red pinstripe
8. Maybe even consider finding RS1 red hood and hatch...or carbon fiber hood and having the gel coat dyed red.
9. You could tape off the very outer part and paint the inside of the trim black, might give it some depth and also won't stand out so much.

 

Red pinstriping kit or paint on your bodyline.
