Default Clean shots (APR splitter installed)

I washed my car today and took some pics. The APR splitter and VRD fogs are recent add-ons.

Perfect... couldn't see a single thing i'd add or change on this car. MAYBE a CF hatch, but i'd definately boost it first. It looks mean.

Nice work

the center of the wheels are chome. only the lips are polished.
just clean them regularly and use low dust brake pads.

HKSpeed...was it hard to install the splitter with the front lip there? Also, how much of the lip did you need to cut to allow the fogs to fit?

installing that splitter was a pain. so much measuring and things to consider. the lip hangs lower than everything else so I cut the splitter into a "C" or cresent moon shape and mounted it to the lip. that makes room for the S-pipe and access to the oil filter, drain plug, and jack point. I had to cut it to make room to access the splash guard bolts, because I didnt want to have to remove the splitter if I needed to remove the splash guards/bumper. i also put a strip of 3M VHB tape between the lip and splitter. acutally mounting the nuts and bolts was a pain since there is little space and awkward angles. the splitter installation took about 4.5 hours, but others have mounted it to their lip-less bumpers in an hour or less.

I cut about .5 inch too much for the fogs. thats what happens when you dont measure and just eyeball it LOL. luckily its not THAT noticable.

I just got my smoked overlays in the mail, which i'll put on this weekend.
I dont like the support rods, but they're kinda necessary. Originally I used hidden zip ties instead of the rods. Without the rods the splitter sags in the center (since the OEM lip goes up and creates a center gap). at high speeds it wobbles. i drilled a hole in the center/middle and i'm going to use washers and a long bolt. hopefully that can replace the rods.
