well, there is DIY instructions in your manual. it shows a pic of you twisting the bulb in its housing and then pulling it out. i hope you can figure out the rest.
Cool. I was wondering if this bulb's angle can be adjusted since lowering my car hasn't really helped illumination.

i have a stupid question on this. the low beam is 9006 and the high is 9005. is it possible to put a second low beam light in the high beam position and light up low? or does the high beam section of the harness put out more watt?.. reason being id like to have both high and low at the same time but have both of them shine low not one high and one low. Sort of like jdm front end integras with their yellow secondary low light...

I am going to get the silverstars now. I am not looking for blinding people but i want something different. This looks safe (for harness), easy (for install), cheap (for price).

Thanks for the reviews all. Time to go to walmart.

I've had PIAA's in my car for almost 3 years. They are the best headlights I've ever had and if you get them from a reputable place (ie. NOT EBAY) then you will get PIAA's lifetime warranty. My brother has SIlverstars and he wants my PIAAs.

Those Hir's are nice, but Remember a new harness for about 20 bucks will have to be added. The bulbs will work great for the first couple months, then harness will fry. HIR's watts are to much for stock harness. Its all about how much you wanna spend. heh

the output is a little lower than the stock bulbs but because of the whiter color of the light stuff down the road looks I guess you can see a little brighter. They do have a coat that makes the light a little whiter but is all good it is not a big deal....

perhaps you are talking about HID's? HIR bulbs use stock wattage and WILL NOT fry anything on your car.

Does anyone know if there are headlights that emit a bluish color, but at the same time, don't melt the harness? (like the silverstars). I have heard the name CoolBlue before, but never seen them on a car.

usually the bright whites give off a blueish color. The pure blue are exactlly that. Really blue.
As for HID's 8K gives off a bluish tint and I think anything over that gives a purple tint.

Is anyone having problems with burn outs for these headlights. I bought them when I first bought the car in June of 05. since then I have had to buy 3 new bulbs. I have not touched the glass when I was putting them in because I know the oils can effect the gas for the bulb. I did leave my lights on most of the time, since with the tC you don't have to turn them off when you turn the car off since it does it for you. Anyone else having this problem?

I have had my silverstars for 8 months and I never turn my headlights off. No problems here.
