i have my rockblocker on sale. full kit minus the hood section. check my sig.

i have a clearbra on now, but from another installer, and they insisted they use their own stuff for hte rest of the car, so i have rockblocker sitting around.

but dont expect a $100 install. thats kidding yourself. its hard work to install it.

Ah, see I thought it was easier to install. On the 3M site they make it look so easy. Couple spray of liquid. Position the kit. Squeege it out.

yeeeeah no, i tried it myself. it needs to stretch a bit to be a good fit. its really tough to manage. and every installer has told me that, and i even tried it. man its a pain. haha

Just the hood? I dunno about you, but I have easily 3x more chips/dents in my bumper than my hood.

At Rockblocker you can buy just the hood piece alone.

But u said that if u go to a shop to get it installed, they will want to use their own product....no? So how come they used a different brand for yr hood but theirs for the rest of the car?

Is the hood part hard to put on or is that the easiest?

they checked it out and said their own stuff is better because they're used to it pretty much. i honestly dont know any other reason why.

id think the hood is the easiest. but then again, im not an installer haha well maybe the mirrors are easy...

edit: also i should mention, not all shops want to use their own stuff. this one wanted to, and i heard a lot of good about them. autobahnd. good work!

well, my friend helped with the headlights b/c he used to do vinyl work so i trusted him. He had trouble with it b/c it's so thick and it does need to stretch and on a curved surface, it might be hard to make it flat. The hood might be easy.

Well, if I find that shop tonight, they said 500 installed. That's just you driving your car there and they detail the paint, install their material, and clean it afterwards. 3 hours.

Yeah, and I believe they are 3M funded as well. I'll let you know it all later tonight if I find that paper.
