arite guys, heres my dilemna, i daily drive my car, and i just got the front end re-painted with a kit. I don't want to mess up my brand new paint job, so i was thinking of clear bra-ing the front end. My question remains, should i spend the 200 - 300 on clear bra, to protect my investment, or should i just drive around until the front end is chipped again and just have it repainted later down the road. 2-3 bills isn't chump change, especially for a poor college kid, so lets here your opinions! Anyone with personal experience with clear bra please post up! thanks guys!

 

Clear bra no doubt is the best. Regular ones eventually ruin the paint after being on too long.

 

Clear bra NOW! You'll spend more having your front end prepped and re-shot.

 

I got an OEM one for free. I took it off because it was ugly and I didn't really need it because I usually just commute to school and back. Here is how it looks like with sunglasses on.

Go with the clear bra now. You won't regret it.

"Waiting to repaint" = sooner than you think when the paint on the nose and front hood are chipped away in quick order.

I had one on my old car, and I loved it! I'd say def. get it. When I get the money, I'll be putting one on this car.

 

i just invest in a lot of green tape, if you're on the highway just replace it every week and you can take it off for shows. EASY

 

yea, i thought about that, but for the time and money, i might as well invest a little more n go for the real thing

 

but if you don't have the money now you can do that till you can save up enough

Hey man any bra in my opinion will do, but im not big in going with the clear bra. I think the other bra actually gives the TC a unique look if you got the wheels and tinted windows to go with it. But someone on this thread said that a regular bra screws ur paint up over time. Well I can say thats false, do the research NOT IN SCIONLIFE. As long as you take the bra off every time you wash the car youll be fine. You have to take it off to remove all the sand and crap that builds up under the bra. Just Common Sense. Good luck man.
