Let me start off by saying I'm not selling anything yet and if/when I do I will become a sponsor. Please let me know if this is against the rules. thanks.

I'm looking to see if anyone is interested in clear corners for the tC headlights. These won't be "Home Depot" corners. These will be made the same or a similar process as the originals. They will be inserts and will require you to open your headlights. I've been talking to some people about making this happen and figuring out all the cost and stuff like that. Before we go through with this we want to see who's interested in buying these. We're not sure what the price will be yet. Our cost is coming out higher then expected but we will be working on a way to bring that cost down over the next week or so.

Let's here comments, interest, and suggestions.


UPDATE 11-16-06: We should have a prototype within a month. If it comes out good and the same place that's doing the prototype can produce them in the low quantities that we want at a good price we'll start taken preorders by the end of the year. More on page 2...


UPDATE 12-22-06: Just checking in and letting everyone know the ball is still rolling with this product.

Sorry. I hate the amber and if you come out with inserts at a reasonable price (maybe not even reasonable ) I will definitely pick up a pair. That is when I will go LED turn signals all around with the box to keep the speed right. I love white lights.

WOW! This is a better response then we thought it would be for less then 24hrs. As for the price we still aren't sure. The cost is way more then expect and we are explorer other options right now to keep cost down. As soon as we know it's gonna happen we will become a sponsor and let everyone know. Thanks.

 

make sure you have people who pay up front before even becoming a sponsor. i mean... that way you wont have to take a risk.

 

for liability issues.. i'd have a legal notice or warning mentioning that these are not legal...

but hmm.. depending on how it goes.. i may pick up a set too for some projects.

As for getting preorders before becoming a sponsor, I wouldn't do that to scionlife. I know scionlife will be where most orders will come from and I like to play fair. Besides I think it's against the rules. Also, with all the money that will be shelled out to make this product it's already a risk. I'm not the type to get money from people and then make a product. Preorders will be when I have a product to show you.
